Install Windows Xp Dell Inspiron 6400
Hello,I am quite new here in the forum and I wanted to know how I can upgrade the driver of my graphics card on win XP?It´s a Dell Inspiron 6400 with a Mobility Radeon X1400.I know that there is a new Cat. Version 7.5 out there but unfortunately Dell does not support that:-(.Do you have any hints without installing any Omega Drivers?Tried to upgrade only the Drivers (without installing the whole Cat.) but I don´t know which driver to choose from the list.I could upgrade the drivers with the last Cat. Version 7.4 but this time it´s not that easy.Well, that´s it.Thanks a lot!!!ChEerS. I found out that CLIstart.exe and ati2evxx.exe must start up together with windows for the monitor's to off again automatically when i install the driver but that only lasted for awhile before it's back to the same problem.
